Those tiebreakers were heartbreakers, but this team played amazing all season. Just a fun team to watch- so proud of them!

Do you think our Tigers were fatigued, for whatever reason? They seemed to me to be playing tired much of the time. But despite the disappointment of losing out on the championship, they had an AUsome season & I'm proud of them! War Damn Tennis!

I could see it being a factor — because the player who played most like herself was Angella, who's a machine. Whether it's a fitness thing or more like a mental fatigue thing, a lot of these other teams have way more experience with deep tournament runs, at Indoor Nationals, at the SEC, at the NCAA final site. Auburn's returners will have this experience under their belt, at least, and if they keep things going they'll get more experiences like that at indoors and in the conference tournament. All these other top-tiers like Georgia and A&M have all been in this position many times before and Auburn hadn't.

Yes, while we were watching we also noted that A&M had been in the championship match before & had the benefit of experience. That experience has to give players a lot of confidence.
