FIVE TO FOLLOW: Championship chases and rivalry matches ahead for the Auburn athletes to watch this week
Uros Zivanovic races at the NCAA Championships and Avery Glynn helps lead the equestrian team into the SEC Championships, plus more.
Here’s a look at the storylines surrounding five Auburn athletes competing this week and weekend, and why you should follow their performances:

Uros Zivanovic
Sport: Men’s swimming
Class: Sophomore
Event: 100-yard breaststroke
Competing:
Prelims: 10 a.m. Thursday
Finals: 6:03 p.m. Thursday
How to watch:
A sophomore from Belgrade, Serbia, by way of Georgia Tech, Zivanovic entered this week’s men’s swimming and diving NCAA Championships with Auburn’s highest seed time as an individual.
Zivanovic enters the 100-yard breaststroke with the nation’s 11th-best time going in, at 51.10 seconds. If he can shave just a bit of that time and catch some slower competition, Zivanovic could swim his way into the national final if he has one of the eight fastest times in the preliminaries.
Zivanovich on Wednesday was part of Auburn’s 200-yard medley relay team, which at NCAAs swam for the second-fastest time in school history in 1:22.37.
