Auburn women’s tennis has made history again: The Tigers are taking the program’s highest-ever overall seed into the NCAA Tournament.

And they’ll be playing in front of their home crowd this weekend.

Taking the No. 2 overall seed into the 64-team NCAA Tournament starting this week, Auburn faces Bryant in the first round Friday at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.

The winner advances to Saturday to play the winner of Friday’s other match between North Florida and, the presumed top challenger for Auburn at the regional, Miami. Miami enters ranked No. 30 in the ITA national rankings. North Florida, though, is quietly the only undefeated team in Division I.

Times for the weekend’s matches have yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, the men are also in. The Auburn men’s tennis team heads to Waco where Baylor is hosting that regional. Auburn is the second-highest seed at the regional, and plays Santa Clara in the first round. Baylor plays Tulsa. Baylor is the 10th overall seed in the men’s tournament.

There’s 64 teams in the field. The top 16 seeded teams host regionals, which are made up of four teams. The surviving 16 teams after regionals head to Super Regionals, also on campus sites. Then, the eight remaining teams head to the NCAA Championships, hosted this year by Georgia in Athens.

Here’s a look at the draw for both Auburn teams, starting with the women:
