History awaits the Tigers tonight.

Auburn track sensations Ja’Kobe Tharp and Kayinsola Ajayi lead a slew of Tigers into the NCAA Championship running finals tonight in Eugene, Ore.

The meet will be televised on ESPN2 starting at 7 p.m. This article will be updated with results and videos as they become available on social media. If you’re reading this in email, click here or click on the headline of this article to go to the live, updating post.

For Auburn fans, the broadcast begins with a bang with the 4x100 relay — featuring the Tigers’ two-time defending national championship squad, going for a three-peat in the event.

Tharp, who sent shockwaves around the track world with a world-record stunner in the preliminaries, will look to cap his magic week in Eugene with an individual national championship. Ajayi hasn’t stolen the same headlines as of yet — but he has a chance to set the NCAA record in the 100-meter dash tonight, as he enters with the second-best time ever recorded in NCAA history. Ajayi has a strong chance like Tharp of competing on the biggest stage in the event finals of the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Auburn fans have their chance to watch them tonight wearing the orange and blue.
