Lionel Messi’s trip down Donahue Drive is just a few days away.
Defending World Cup champions Argentina plays Iceland on Tuesday night in Jordan-Hare Stadium, in what will be a warmup exhibition for the tournament for Messi and his crew, and in what will be an unprecedented event for Auburn University and the city of Auburn. Eyes from around the world will be on the Plains during the match.
And eyes around the Plains might just be wondering what they’re looking at going in. For that, the Auburn Torch has turned to Justin Ferguson of the Auburn Observer — and to EA Sports’ FC26.
The Justins played a round of Argentina-Iceland and Ferg shared some of his international soccer knowledge. Watch the match above, or on YouTube.
The real match is set for 7:30 p.m. Central on Tuesday and is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN.
As always: Check out the Auburn Observer.
